Allen Brown: My full time job is designing & building houses, both new and remodel. I have been in construction since 1987, and have been self-employed building and designing since 1990. I designed (& helped a friend build) the first L.E.E.D. Certified home in Indiana in 2007. In 2014, I went through the Passive House Institute U.S. (PHIUS), and became only the 2nd Passive House Certified Builder in Indiana. At the time of my certification, there weren't any certified Passive Houses in Indiana, but one that was under construction, trying to reach certification.
